Part-Time Design & Content Assistant (Remote)

Hi everyone,

My name is Dr Louise Rix and I run a business focused on clinical product, healthtech and building digital health. You can learn about me at ---------- and www. ---------- /in/louiserix

I am looking for a reliable, detail-oriented and creative person to support me part-time with design and social media content.
This is a long-term role, starting part-time, with the possibility of more hours in the future as the business grows.

You will be working directly with me on content for LinkedIn, my newsletter, and online courses. My goal is to post high-quality content every day, and I am looking for someone who can help produce clean, professional graphics and support with posting and comments.

This is the first hire for my remote team, and I am looking for someone who wants to grow with the business over time.

About Louise

Louise is a medical doctor and clinical product leader working in digital health and healthtech
She is a previous venture capitalist and startup founder
She writes online, runs courses, and creates educational content about clinical product and healthcare innovation
She is building a personal brand and online education business
She works to a high standard and values professionalism, kindness and attention to detail

Your role

The work has two parts.

1. Design & Content Production (main part of the role)

  • Creating LinkedIn infographics, images and carousels
  • Designing cheat sheets, diagrams and simple graphics
  • Formatting PDFs, slides and documents
  • Editing existing designs into new formats
  • Making content look clean, professional and high quality

This is the most important part of the job.

2. Social Media & Virtual Assistant Support (smaller part)

  • Posting content to LinkedIn / Substack / Instagram
  • Replying to comments when instructed
  • Sending DMs when I ask people to message for details
  • Commenting on posts in my voice (with guidance)
  • Organising content files and folders
  • Light admin tasks when needed

Researching new topics may occasionally be required, as well as light-touch writing.
In general, I will provide the ideas, and you help produce and manage the content.
This role will start focused on LinkedIn, but may grow to include other platforms such as Instagram as the business grows.

Key & Essential Skills

Strong written English communication skills
Very strong attention to detail
Positive “can do” attitude and willingness to take on tasks or any size and learn new things!
Willing to work hard and want to grow professionally
I am looking for a long-term employee
If the candidate is successful, there will be opportunities for pay rises and bonuses depending on performance.
Flexible vacation time. If you need time off just book it off a week in advance.

Bonus (not required)

The following are nice to have but a positive mindset and willingness to learn are more important:

Experience with LinkedIn content
Experience with Instagram or other social media platforms
Experience repurposing content across platforms

Hours & Schedule

  • Part-time role (10–15 hours per week to start)
  • You must be available every weekday from 7–9am UK time for live collaboration and training. Please note British Summer Time starts on 29th March so ensure you can do these hours.
  • Remaining hours are flexible
  • This schedule works well for candidates based in the Philippines

There may be more hours available in the future as the business grows.

Pay

  • Up to $5 per hour depending on experience
  • This is a long term role with the option to become full-time later in the year
  • Opportunity for pay rises and bonuses as responsibility increases
