Part-Time Graphic Designer (Figma, Canva, Remote)

Hi everyone,

My name is Dr Louise Rix. I run an online education and content business focused on digital health, clinical product, and healthtech.

I am looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to support me with creating high-quality visual content, for social media, mainly for LinkedIn and Instagram.

This is a long-term role, starting part-time, with the possibility of more hours in the future as the business grows.

You will be working directly with me to create clean, professional infographics, carousels and educational graphics.

This is the second hire for my remote team, so I am looking for someone reliable who wants to grow with the business over time.

About the work

Most of the work will involve designing:

Infographics
Carousels
Cheat sheets
Diagrams
Educational graphics
Slides / PDFs
Visual layouts for online courses

The style should be:

clean
modern
professional
minimal
easy to read
high quality

Most content will be created in Figma and/or Canva.

In the future, the role may include designing course content, but the main focus is currently LinkedIn and Instagram.

Key & Essential Skills

Strong written English communication skills
Strong design skills
Experience using Figma is a must
Good eye for layout, typography and spacing
Ability to create clean, professional graphics
Very strong attention to detail
Positive “can do” attitude and willingness to take on tasks or any size and learn new things!
Willing to work hard and want to grow professionally

If the candidate is successful, there will be opportunities for pay rises and bonuses depending on performance.

The following are nice to have but a positive mindset and willingness to learn are more important:

Experience with LinkedIn content
Experience with Instagram or other social media platforms
Experience repurposing content across platforms

Hours & Schedule

• Part-time role (10–15 hours per week to start)
• You must be available every weekday from 7–9am UK time for live collaboration and training.
• Remaining hours are flexible
• This schedule works well for candidates based in the Philippines
• Flexible vacation time. If you need time off just book it off a week in advance.

There may be more hours available in the future as the business grows.

Pay

• Up to $5-7 per hour depending on experience
• This is a long-term role with the option to become full-time later in the year
• Opportunity for pay rises and bonuses as responsibility increases
