About the Role

Full-Charge Bookkeeper (US Client) – CPA Philippines
We are looking for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to handle bookkeeping and operational support for our U.S.-based client. This is a full-time role requiring 8 hours of daily coverage during CST business hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST).
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, resourceful, and experienced in U.S. bookkeeping and payroll practices. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, with the initiative to problem-solve independently rather than waiting to be told what to do.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to inbox correspondence — vendors, government agencies, and employees
Handle compliance matters, including tax-related expiries/deadlines
Process payroll accurately and on time
Manage the full bookkeeping cycle, including tracking bookkeeping-related expiries/deadlines
Serve as Operations Manager, overseeing daily business operations
Work within U.S. Business Hours (CST) to ensure full client coverage
Take full ownership of all assigned clients' accounts and needs

Required Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Philippines
Minimum 2 years of U.S. bookkeeping experience
At least 1 year of U.S. payroll experience
Proven ability to manage the full bookkeeping cycle end-to-end
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong organizational and operational management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills
Experience managing email correspondence
A "let me figure this out" attitude — someone who takes initiative, solves problems independently, and doesn't need hand-holding to get things done

Preferred (Nice to Have):
Prior experience with a U.S. bookkeeping or accounting firm
Strong background in bookkeeping, payroll administration, and inventory management
Experience working with manufacturing companies
Commission processing experience
Comfortable handling manual payroll entries (not solely reliant on automated systems)
