About the Role

I am a salon owner, professional hairstylist, recording artist, and lifestyle content creator based in the United States. I am looking for a reliable, creative, and highly organized Social Media Manager & Digital Business Assistant to help manage my day-to-day online presence and keep my brands active while I step away from personally managing social media.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in social media management, Instagram marketing, TikTok marketing, Facebook marketing, brand management, and community management who understands hair, beauty, lifestyle, and personal brands and is comfortable taking ownership of recurring digital tasks.

Your responsibilities will include managing and scheduling social media posts, organizing and repurposing existing content, writing captions that match my natural voice, posting Instagram Stories, and helping maintain a consistent presence across my social platforms.

You will help manage routine social media inquiries and provide customer support through direct messages and other online communication. You will respond to frequently asked questions using provided brand guidelines and identify messages or situations that require my personal attention.

A major part of this position will involve helping manage my salon’s online community, known as the Girlie Lounge. This includes community management, preparing and posting client updates, booking reminders, announcements, Amazon product recommendations, and other community-focused content.

You will help coordinate monthly salon booking drops, including preparing booking announcements, countdown reminders, Instagram Story posts, and scheduled communications leading up to each booking date.

You will also help maintain and organize my Amazon Storefront, including adding approved Amazon products, organizing product lists, updating product links, and helping create social media content around products I personally use and recommend.

Content management will be an important part of this role. You will help organize raw photos and videos, identify content that can be repurposed, and maintain a structured content library and content calendar.

Experience using CapCut for short-form video editing and Canva for social media graphics, announcements, and promotional content is strongly preferred.

You should be comfortable using Meta Business Suite to schedule and manage content across Instagram and Facebook .

Experience with influencer marketing and brand partnerships is a plus. This may include helping organize collaboration opportunities, tracking campaign deadlines, maintaining brand communication, and ensuring required content is completed and posted on schedule.

Additional responsibilities may include tracking basic social media analytics, identifying high-performing content, researching relevant trends, organizing digital business information, and completing light Virtual Assistant and administrative tasks.

I am looking for someone who is proactive and does not require constant reminders to complete recurring tasks. You should be able to learn my brand voice, understand my audience, and recognize the difference between content that fits my brand and content that does not.

Excellent written English, attention to detail, communication, confidentiality, and consistency are extremely important for this position.

My goal is to build a long-term working relationship with someone I can trust to help operate my digital presence while allowing me to focus on my clients, businesses, music, and creating content.

This is a part-time position starting at approximately 20 hours per week and will begin with a paid trial period. There is potential for increased hours, increased pay, and long-term growth based on performance and expanded responsibilities.
