Community Support & Publishing Operations VA

We are hiring a full-time Virtual Assistant who will begin with customer support and >Facebook com munity management, then gradually grow into publishing operations.

Your first responsibility will be monitoring our private reader community, answering questions clearly, and making sure members are not ignored.

As you prove that you are reliable, accurate, and able to learn independently, we will train you on book production, formatting, design, quality control, and project management.

Initial Responsibilities

• Check the >Facebook com munity every workday.
• Respond to reader questions in clear, friendly English.
• Make sure every post or question receives a response.
• Solve normal problems independently.
• Escalate sensitive or unclear issues.
• Track tasks and blockers in Trello.
• Send a short end-of-day report.

Future Responsibilities

• Format and quality-check books.
• Create bonus pages and landing pages.
• Make Canva and AI-assisted design updates.
• Use ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI tools.
• Follow publishing SOPs and manage tasks in Trello.
• Coordinate with designers, formatters, and narrators.
• Catch mistakes before work is published.

You Are a Strong Fit If You Have

• Strong written English.
• Customer support, community management, or social media experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using AI for real work.
• Canva experience and good visual judgment.
• The ability to learn unfamiliar software independently.
• A problem-solving mindset.
• Reliable internet of at least 25 Mbps upload and download.
• A power and internet backup plan.
• Full-time availability with partial Eastern Time overlap.

Publishing, Atticus, Vellum, Aweber, landing-page, or project-management experience is helpful but not required.

Compensation

• 90-day paid trial: $3 USD per hour.
• After passing the trial: $4 USD per hour.
• Bi-weekly pay.
• After the trial: 13th-month pay, US holidays off, one sick day, and one PTO day per month.
