Canva Workbook Designer | Long Term Position
Curated from source
UnityEd is a growing education company that creates premium digital resources, workbooks, and professional toolkits for educators, school administrators, and families.
We are looking for a fast, reliable Canva Workbook Designer to join our production team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning completed written content into clean, professional, easy-to-read workbooks.
This is primarily a layout and formatting role - not a content creation role.
The workbook cover and written content will already be provided. Your job is to professionally assemble everything inside Canva while maintaining a polished, consistent design.
What You'll Do
For each workbook, you will:
1. Format the provided content into Canva.
2. Use the provided cover page as the design reference.
3. Arrange text and images into a clean, visually appealing layout.
4. Add simple icons or graphic elements when appropriate to enhance readability.
5. Ensure consistent fonts, spacing, alignment, margins, and page formatting.
6. Follow UnityEd's existing branding and design style.
7. Proofread for formatting issues, missing content, duplicated pages, spacing inconsistencies, and visual errors before submission.
8. Complete revisions promptly when needed.
Most workbooks range from 30–100+ pages.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
1. Fast and efficient without sacrificing quality.
2. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
3. Experienced creating multi-page documents in Canva.
4. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Comfortable following an existing design style rather than creating a new one from scratch.
6. Reliable and able to meet deadlines consistently.
Required Qualifications
You should have:
1. Strong Canva skills.
2. Experience designing multi-page workbooks, eBooks, guides, or digital products.
3. Excellent attention to detail.
4. Good English reading comprehension.
5. The ability to follow written instructions carefully.
6. Experience working with large documents (50+ pages preferred).
7. Reliable internet and consistent weekly availability.
This Position Is NOT For You If You:
1. Frequently miss deadlines.
2. Rush through projects and overlook details.
3. Need constant supervision.
4. Have too many existing clients to consistently meet deadlines.
Our Design Style
Our workbooks are:
- Clean
- Modern
- Professional
- Premium
- Easy to read
- Well organized
-- Designed for educators and school leaders
We are not looking for overly decorative, colorful, or child-like Canva designs.
Hours
- Minimum availability: 15 hours per week
- Opportunity for additional hours based on performance
- Long-term work available for the right person
Compensation
Starting Rate: $4.00 USD/hour
There are opportunities for increased hours, pay, and long-term work based on quality, reliability, and productivity.
How to Apply
Please answer the following:
1. Briefly introduce yourself and describe your Canva experience.
2. How many years have you been designing multi-page workbooks, eBooks, or digital products?
3. Please provide 3–5 samples of your best Canva workbook or multi-page document designs.
4. Please do not submit logos, flyers, or social media graphics.
5. Approximately how many hours per week are you available to work?
6. How do you ensure a 50–100 page workbook is free from formatting errors before submitting it?
7. If given a completed document and design reference, are you comfortable independently laying out the pages while maintaining a consistent style?

Applications without this phrase will not be considered.
If you're someone who enjoys producing polished, professional workbooks quickly while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you.
