About the Role

Shala Studio is looking for a proactive, creative and confident Social Media Outreach, Onboarding & Community Assistant to help promote the yoga platform, grow our global yoga community, onboard new clients and develop our ambassador programme.

This is a remote, full-time independent contractor role for 40 hours per week. The initial contract will run for three months and pays a fixed fee of $850 per month.

The monthly fee includes three days of paid personal leave during the three-month contract, together with recognised Philippine public holidays that fall on normal working days.

Applicants must be available for regular overlap with UK working hours. No 13th-month payment or December bonus is included.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting Shala Studio through social media outreach
  • Connecting with yoga teachers, wellness professionals, collaborators and community groups
  • Responding to enquiries and following up with prospective clients
  • Guiding new clients through the onboarding process
  • Helping clients set up their profiles, classes and services
  • Checking in with new clients and helping them become active users
  • Developing and managing the Shala Studio ambassador programme
  • Identifying and approaching potential ambassadors
  • Creating ambassador materials, guidance and outreach messages
  • Maintaining relationships with ambassadors and tracking referrals
  • Creating social media posts, stories, reels, captions and simple graphics
  • Planning and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook , TikTok and LinkedIn
  • Supporting campaigns, class promotions, events and platform updates
  • Tracking engagement, outreach, onboarding progress and ambassador activity

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent written and spoken English
  • Has direct experience with social media outreach, customer onboarding, community-building or account management
  • Is confident speaking with prospective and existing clients
  • Can guide people through a clear onboarding process
  • Can develop relationships with ambassadors, partners and community members
  • Can write clear captions, outreach messages and short promotional copy
  • Is organised, reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently
  • Can work with regular overlap during UK working hours
  • Has an interest in yoga, breathwork, wellness or movement

Experience with Canva, Instagram Reels, CRM systems, content scheduling tools, social media analytics, customer onboarding or ambassador programmes would be helpful.
