About the Role

Luma Valen Entertainment is seeking a talented, organized, creative, and highly dependable full-time Social Media Manager to manage the online presence of recording artist Luma Valen.

This is a long-term position for someone who wants to become an important member of the artist’s team. This is not a temporary freelance project or a video-editing-only role. The ideal candidate understands entertainment, fashion, storytelling, and personal branding, and knows how to create content that feels authentic, emotional, engaging, and aligned with an artist’s identity.

Responsibilities include:

Social Media Management

  • Manage daily social media activity across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook , YouTube/YouTube Shorts, Threads, X, and other relevant platforms.
  • Prepare, schedule, and publish approved posts while maintaining a consistent content calendar.
  • Adapt content for each platform’s audience and best practices.
  • Coordinate content around music releases, interviews, performances, press coverage, events, campaigns, and announcements.
  • Ensure captions, credits, tags, links, spelling, and formatting are accurate before publishing.
  • Maintain organized records of approved content and prevent duplicate, incomplete, unauthorized, or off-brand posts.

Content Creation & Video Editing

  • Edit Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, Facebook videos, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Turn interviews, performances, photo shoots, behind-the-scenes footage, and longer videos into engaging short-form content.
  • Identify strong hooks, emotional moments, and compelling storylines from raw footage.
  • Add subtitles, music, transitions, text overlays, graphics, and calls to action.
  • Create multiple pieces of content from a single recording session, interview, or event.
  • Create Instagram Stories and basic graphics using Canva or similar tools.
  • Maintain a polished and consistent visual identity.

Captions, Engagement & Community Management

  • Write captions that reflect Luma Valen’s voice, personality, message, and artistic identity.
  • Create engaging hooks and calls to action.
  • Research hashtags, keywords, trends, tags, and platform opportunities.
  • Monitor and respond to comments using the approved Luma Valen brand voice.
  • Engage with fans, creators, music pages, industry accounts, and collaborators.
  • Help develop a loyal and active fan community.
  • Escalate press inquiries, booking requests, sponsorship opportunities, complaints, sensitive topics, or business inquiries to management.

Growth & Analytics

  • Help develop strategies to increase followers, engagement, streams, views, email sign-ups, and fan participation.
  • Monitor music, entertainment, fashion, and social media trends.
  • Research comparable artists and identify content strategies that can be adapted.
  • Track views, reach, engagement, follower growth, watch time, shares, saves, comments, profile visits, and link activity.
  • Provide weekly performance updates and monthly reports highlighting top-performing content, audience trends, effective formats, and recommended improvements.

Organization & Communication

  • Organize videos, photos, captions, approvals, graphics, and schedules through Google Drive or assigned project-management tools.
  • Maintain clear file organization and naming systems.
  • Communicate consistently with Luma Valen and the team.
  • Attend virtual meetings when required.
  • Protect unreleased music, private footage, passwords, business information, and confidential materials.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional social media management experience.
  • Experience managing social media for a brand, creator, public figure, recording artist, or entertainment company.
  • Strong short-form video editing skills.
  • Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
  • Experience with Canva or other graphic design platforms.
  • Strong written English, grammar, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook , Threads, and X.
  • Ability to recognize strong content hooks and storytelling opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
  • Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and professional remote-work setup.
  • Availability for overlap with New York/Eastern Time.
  • Commitment to a full-time, long-term position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with musicians, recording artists, entertainment brands, fashion brands, or public figures.
  • Understanding of music releases, streaming platforms, creator campaigns, and fan engagement.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, Instagram Insights, and scheduling tools.
  • Experience creating content from interviews, performances, photo shoots, and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Understanding of copyright, music credits, content permissions, and unreleased material.

AI Experience Required
The successful candidate must have experience using AI tools as part of a professional social media workflow.

Experience should include:

  • Canva AI for graphics, resizing, editing, and content adaptation.
  • ChatGPT or Claude for captions, planning, research, rewriting, and content ideas.
  • AI-assisted transcription, subtitles, video clipping, and repurposing.
  • Tools such as CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Descript, OpusClip, Runway, ElevenLabs, Pixomi AI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong prompt-writing skills and ability to improve AI-generated results.
  • Ability to review, fact-check, and edit all AI-assisted work before publishing.

AI should improve creativity, speed, organization, and quality while maintaining human judgment and understanding of the Luma Valen brand.
