About Embodied Support Collective
Embodied Support Collective is a boutique NDIS provider dedicated to supporting people living with psychosocial disability and mental health challenges to live meaningful, connected and fulfilling lives. About the Role
As our Bookkeeper, you'll play an important role in ensuring the financial operations of Embodied Support Collective run smoothly and accurately. Working closely with our Operations Manager and Directors, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll and supporting the financial health of the business. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating order, loves working with numbers and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
Payroll
Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.
Ensure correct SCHADS Award classifications and pay rates are applied.
Process superannuation.
Maintain employee payroll records.
Xero Bookkeeping
Reconcile bank accounts.
Code and reconcile business transactions.
Process supplier invoices and payments.
Maintain accurate financial records.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Monitor outstanding invoices.
Financial Administration
Prepare monthly financial reports.
Assist with BAS preparation by maintaining accurate records for the accountant.
Liaise with our accountant as required.
Monitor cash flow and highlight any issues.
Assist with budgeting information where required.
Continuous Improvement
Recommend improvements to financial systems and processes.
Ensure documentation is organised and up to date.
Support automation and efficiencies between Xero and Astalty where possible.

Essential Requirements
Experience using Xero.
Experience processing payroll.
Strong bookkeeping knowledge.
Excellent organisational skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Reliable internet connection.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Highly Desirable
Experience with:
Australian bookkeeping.
SCHADS Award payroll.
NDIS businesses.
Superannuation processing.
BAS preparation.
Receipt management software (e.g. Hubdoc or Dext).
Workflow automation.
Astalty (or willingness to learn).
