Meta Ads Virtual Assistant / Junior Media Buyer

JL Marketing is a fast-growing Meta Badged Partner specializing in lead generation for health, wellness, and fitness businesses. We’re expanding our remote team and looking for a detail-oriented Meta Ads Virtual Assistant / Junior Media Buyer to support our marketing team.

This role is best for someone with experience in Facebook and Instagram ads who is organized, reliable, and comfortable handling campaign execution, monitoring, reporting, QA checks, and internal support.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a dedicated Meta Ads Virtual Assistant / Junior Media Buyer to support the day-to-day execution of our Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. You’ll work closely with our Account Managers and marketing team on campaign setup, monitoring, reporting, tracking checks, creative coordination, and administrative tasks, while also sharing ideas and suggestions to help improve performance and processes.

Responsibilities

Meta Ads Support

• Assist in creating, launching, and monitoring Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns.
• Help with campaign updates and optimizations based on Account Manager direction and performance data.
• Assist with audience research, targeting setup, campaign objectives, budgets, and ad setup.
• Monitor key campaign metrics such as CPL, CTR, conversions, lead volume, and lead quality.
• Flag performance issues, unusual changes, or campaign errors to the team.

Campaign QA, Reporting & Tracking

• Check campaigns before and after launch to make sure ads, links, forms, budgets, creatives, and targeting are set up correctly.
• Monitor ad performance and prepare simple performance reports or updates for the team.
• Assist with Meta Pixel / Dataset checks, event tracking, and troubleshooting when needed.
• Help confirm lead flow, form submissions, CRM connections, and tracking accuracy.

Creative & Copy Coordination

• Coordinate ad creatives, copy, and assets with the marketing team.
• Help organize campaign assets, creative files, and client notes.
• Make sure ads are aligned with client branding, offers, and campaign goals.

Administrative & VA Support

• Maintain organized campaign files, client notes, and internal documentation.
• Assist with scheduling, team coordination, and project updates.
• Support CRM updates and communication tasks when needed.
• Join daily Zoom huddles and provide clear updates on assigned tasks.

Qualifications

Meta Ads Experience

• Experience managing or assisting with Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns.
• Basic understanding of Meta Ads Manager, campaign objectives, targeting, budgets, placements, ads, and reporting.
• Experience with lead generation campaigns is preferred.

Detail-Oriented & Organized

• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable checking work carefully before marking tasks complete.

Communication Skills

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with a remote team.
• Able to provide regular updates and flag issues quickly.

Self-Motivated & Reliable

• Able to work independently, follow instructions, and take initiative.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable with repetitive but important execution tasks.
• Able to work effectively from home and align working hours closely with US time zones.
