I'm a sales rep at a growing roofing & exteriors company in Columbus, OH, and I'm hiring a personal remote assistant to run the back-office side of my sales pipeline. You'd work directly for me — not the company — so I can stay in the field selling.
Important — read fully: You will never contact homeowners. I handle all customer contact. You will be on the phone with insurance adjusters and carriers, so clear, confident spoken and written English is non-negotiable.
No roofing experience needed — I train you on estimating, supplements, reading adjuster scopes, and how I run my pipeline. What I can't teach is work ethic, organization, and attention to detail. Bring those.
AI is the tool for this job. Most of the work — estimates, supplements, professional email s, daily to-do lists — is done with AI, mainly Claude. You should be comfortable using it daily: strong prompts, feeding it the right info, and carefully checking its output before anything goes out.
What you'll do:
Build my estimates from field photos, measurements, and notes
Write insurance supplements — catch missed/underpaid line items and maximize each claim
Work claims by phone/email with adjusters (never homeowners)
Manage my pipeline — track every lead, flag anything stalling
Hand me a prioritized daily action list so no lead ever dies from a missed follow-up
Keep job files organized and give me a quick daily check-in
You are:
Fluent, clear English — spoken and written (you'll be on adjuster calls and writing formal docs)
Extremely organized and detail-obsessed
Quick to learn, proactive, self-managed — you flag problems before I ask
Solid with Google Docs/Sheets or Word/Excel, PDFs, and cloud file management
Comfortable with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)
Available business hours Eastern Time
Compensation: Hourly or flat weekly rate + performance bonuses tied to supplement recovery and closed jobs.
Schedule: Fully remote, business hours ET, daily check-in with me.
