We’re hiring a Social Media Manager to own the strategy, coordination, and execution of social media distribution for some of the fastest-growing podcast brands on the internet.
You will manage end-to-end social media execution across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook , X, and LinkedIn, turning podcast episodes into high-performing content that drives millions of views.
You’ll work directly with high-profile entrepreneurs and founders who are building movements, not just audiences. You’ll collaborate closely with a world-class creative team and take real ownership of growth outcomes across multiple high-stakes brands.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in an agency before, deeply understands social media, uses AI to optimise their workflow, and can assist with contnet ideas for clients.
What You Own
You own the distribution, positioning, and performance of content once it is ready to publish. That means d ---------- what gets posted, how it is positioned, when it goes live, how it performs, and what to optimise next. You are accountable for outcomes, not production.
Role Clarity (Important)
This is not an editing or graphic design role. You will not be editing videos or designing thumbnails. Your responsibility is to ensure content is ready to publish. This means being able to quickly spot spelling or factual errors, incorrect branding or tone, and visuals, thumbnails, or covers that are clearly off-standard.
Responsibilities
Captioning & Hooks (AI-Assisted):
Write click-worthy captions, hooks, and titles using AI and strategic thinking
Content Readiness Checks:
Before publishing, confirm content is accurate, on-brand, and free from obvious errors.
Publishing & Scheduling:
Upload, schedule, and publish content across YouTube, TikTok, Meta (FB & IG), X, and LinkedIn with zero mistakes.
Creative Awareness:
Ensure YouTube thumbnails, IG covers, and episode graphics meet brand standards and are suitable for publishing.
Client Communication:
Manage daily communication, approvals, and feedback with clients clearly and professionally.
Content & Trend Research:
Track viral trends, analyse competitors, and pitch fresh content ideas weekly.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor performance using Metricool and reporting tools to identify wins and optimisation opportunities.
Systems & Ops Support:
Maintain clean ---------- structures, update weekly distribution schedules, and keep workflows organised.
Requirements
Must be able to manage 10 clients, ideally suited for someone with agency experience
2+ years managing social media professionally with proven growth results.
Strong understanding of short-form and long-form content performance.
Strategic awareness of editing and design principles (hooks, pacing, thumbnails) without doing the work.
Experience with or familiarity in YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook , X, LinkedIn, Canva (review and light adjustments only), ChatGPT or similar AI tools, Metricool or similar scheduling platforms.

Reliable internet connection.
Available 8AM–5PM AEST.
Compensation
Base Rate: $8–$10 AUD per hour, based on experience and results.
