Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer (Hybrid Tester) to join our core engineering team. This is a role for a professional who thrives on ensuring the quality and reliability of complex software systems and is looking for a stable, long-term home. You will have significant responsibility for driving our testing strategy, validating frontend interfaces, and ensuring the accuracy of our backend data pipelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hybrid Testing: Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test suites across our entire technology stack.
Frontend Automation: Build out and maintain robust UI automation frameworks utilizing Playwright and TypeScript.
Backend & API Validation: Conduct deep backend testing using Java, with a specific focus on testing and validating GraphQL query mutations.
Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly and efficiently with the US-based engineering team, participating in a required daily standup at 4:00 PM MST (which aligns with the end of your local shift).
System Integrity: Identify, document, and track software defects while enforcing high quality-assurance standards across the development lifecycle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 5–7 years of professional QA experience covering both manual and automation testing.
Core Testing: Strong background operating as a hybrid tester in a fast-paced environment.
Frontend Tools: Deep, hands-on expertise with Playwright and TypeScript.
Backend Tools: Proven experience with Java backend testing and executing GraphQL query mutations.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are strictly required to ensure seamless team collaboration.
Working Hours: Must be available to work from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM local Philippine time to overlap appropriately with our US Mountain Standard Time (MST) schedule.
