About the Role
Position Overview
We’re looking for a Klaviyo Flow Specialist who can own the strategy, buildout, and optimization of automated email flows for our portfolio of Shopify-based DTC clients. You’ll be responsible for mapping customer journeys, building segmentation, setting up flows from scratch, and ensuring every automation is performance-optimized and on-brand.
Requirements/Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working in Klaviyo
- Deep understanding of customer lifecycle and retention marketing for eCommerce brands
- Strong technical skills within Klaviyo: automation logic, segmentation, A/B testing, dynamic blocks, triggers, working with their support team, etc.
- Experience building and optimizing flows like: Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Checkout, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Win-back, and Loyalty flows
- Strong experience with Shopify, including how to use event data and customer properties in Klaviyo
- Ability to develop strategy and confidently present flow audits and recommendations
- Experience collaborating with copywriters and designers to bring flows to life
- Strong understanding of KPIs like open rates, CTR, revenue per flow, and deliverability
- Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple client accounts at once

Roles & Responsibilities for this position:
- Build, launch, and optimize email flows in Klaviyo across multiple DTC brands
- Own the entire customer journey via email automations - from strategy to execution
- Develop segmentation strategies and conditional logic to create personalized experiences
- Conduct account audits and implement best practices to increase performance
- Partner with copywriters and designers to ensure content aligns with strategy
- Monitor and report on performance regularly, providing strategic recommendations
- Troubleshoot issues within Klaviyo and proactively improve deliverability and flow efficiency
- Stay current with Klaviyo updates, industry trends, and platform capabilities
