About the Role

THE ROLE
We're hiring a sales closer for a growing pest control and holiday lighting company in Houston, TX. This is not a lead gen role — leads already come in through paid marketing, referrals, and local outreach. What's needed is someone who can close deals and help build out the sales systems in GoHighLevel.

You'll report directly to the business owner, who is actively building out GoHighLevel (pipelines, automations, AI voice and texting agents) and wants a true GHL partner — not someone who needs the platform explained to them.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Close inbound sales leads for both pest control and holiday lighting, by phone, email , and text
Own the full sales cycle for holiday lighting (July through October is peak season), including building and presenting quotes and proposals
Track your own performance against sales KPIs and close-rate targets
Work hands-on inside GoHighLevel: support pipelines, workflows, and automations, and help roll out AI voice and texting agents
Manage all sales-related email correspondence
Learn and maintain Real Green (pest control CRM) and ServiceMinder (lighting CRM) — training provided
Flag stalled deals or unresolved issues early, using existing scripts and escalation paths
Coordinate with the existing operations VA on shared accounts

NON-NEGOTIABLES
Advanced, hands-on GoHighLevel experience. You've personally built pipelines, workflows, and automations — not just navigated someone else's setup. This gets verified, not just asked about.
A proven track record of closing sales, not just generating or qualifying leads
Comfortable building and presenting quotes or proposals as part of a full sales cycle
Self-driven and highly detail-oriented — this role isn't closely supervised
Proactive communicator who flags issues before they become problems. This business is hungry to grow and needs someone just as hungry to close, learn fast, and grow with it. (If you've read this far: put the word HUNGRY somewhere in your email subject line.)
