== THE POSITION ==

As the Recruitment Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to engage and qualify commercial driver candidates through proactive outbound outreach. It requires someone who is confident on the phone, highly organized, and able to build rapport with prospective drivers.

You'll conduct daily cold calls to drivers in the company's database, follow up with incomplete applicants and social media leads, and serve as the first point of contact for prospective drivers. You'll also conduct outreach to CDL-A driving schools and unemployment offices near Baltimore, MD to help grow the company's driver pipeline.

-> Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cold calling, outbound sales, recruitment, or appointment setting is required
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Confident speaking with candidates over the phone
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet daily outreach goals.
  • Comfortable handling objections and encouraging applicants to continue the hiring process.
  • Available to work part-time (20 hrs/wk) to start.
  • Can work during standard US business hours.
  • Fast, stable internet connection (Minimum download speed 10 Mbps)
  • Working computer/laptop (Minimum Requirement: Processor - Intel i5 or equivalent, RAM - 8GB).
  • Backup power source or work location for power outages.

-> Tools/Software:

  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)
  • Microsoft Office
  • CRM or Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • VoIP/Dialer software
  • Social media platforms (Facebook , etc.)

-> Nice to Have:

  • Experience recruiting CDL or truck driver is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or staffing industries is preferred
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Knowledge of U.S. recruitment practices is highly desirable

-> Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct daily outbound cold calls to drivers in the company's database.
  • Follow up with applicants who started but did not complete the application process.
  • Contact and qualify leads generated through social media advertising campaigns.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective drivers and provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Answer basic questions about available driving opportunities and guide candidates through the next steps.
  • Build relationships with CDL-A driving schools in and around Baltimore, Maryland to generate candidate referrals.
  • Conduct outreach to local unemployment offices to identify additional recruiting opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all calls, conversations, and candidate statuses in the company's CRM or ATS.
  • Schedule qualified candidates for the next stage of the recruitment process when applicable.
  • Meet daily and weekly outreach and follow-up targets.
  • Provide regular updates on recruiting activities, pipeline progress, and candidate feedback.
