E-Commerce Operations Assistant , Growing US Skincare Brand (Overnight PHT)

We are a fast-growing handmade skincare brand based in Atlanta, GA, US. Small-batch, vegan, black-owned, and loved by 10,000+ customers. This role is a career opportunity , I'm looking for someone who wants to grow WITH the business, with a clear path to Operations Manager and eventually COO for the right person. Long-term hire only, not project work.

The Role:
This is NOT a typical VA role. You'll be working alongside AI tools DAILY (Claude AND ChatGPT) to execute across every part of the business. If you love e-commerce, love learning, love AI tools, and want to be the operational backbone of a growing brand, keep reading.

You must read, write, AND speak English very fluently. We will video chat regularly. All customer email s you respond to are in English to US customers , your writing must be natural, warm, and native-sounding. Please only apply if this is genuinely you.

Schedule:

• 20 hours per week to start (with room to grow to full-time)
• Overnight Philippines time: 9pm , 1am PHT, Monday through Friday (5 days × 4 hours)
• This overlaps with my daytime hours in the US
• Consistent overnight schedule , not a rotating shift. Please only apply if overnight fits your life LONG-TERM.

What You'll Do:

• Manage customer service inbox with AI , draft warm, personable responses in our brand voice, resolve issues, build real relationships with customers, follow up thoughtfully. Warm and human, never robotic.
• Execute Google Ads changes (add negative keywords, adjust bids, launch campaigns) based on AI-generated instructions
• Upload email campaigns in Omnisend and SMS campaigns in Postscript based on my briefs (I do copy + design, you upload + schedule + test)
• Reach out to abandoned cart customers with personalized messages
• Update Shopify products, collections, and inventory
• Run all projects and tasks in ClickUp , build briefs, assign subtasks, track deadlines, keep everything accountable
• Follow detailed SOPs (I have them ready , we'll build more together)
• Handle spreadsheets, data entry, light analysis, and follow-ups
• Support ad-hoc ops as we grow

What You Need:

• 2+ years e-commerce VA experience (Shopify experience REQUIRED)
• ClickUp experience specifically (we run everything here)
• Confident using Claude AND ChatGPT daily , non-negotiable
• Very fluent English (written and spoken , video interview will confirm)
• Attention to detail is EVERYTHING , small misses cost sales
• Reliable follow-through , if you say you'll do it, it's done
• Warm, personable, relationship-building style with customers
• Self-starter who thinks independently
• HONEST about what you know , training is available, but I need honesty about your real skill level
• Wants a real career and long-term growth, not a side gig

Nice to Have:

• Google Ads experience (I'll train you if not)
• Omnisend and/or Postscript experience
• Customer service experience with US customers
• Skincare or beauty industry familiarity

Interview Process:
Interviews will be VIDEO INTERVIEWS. Please do not use pre-scripted answers , I want to see how you think and communicate in real time. Come as you are, be honest, ask questions.

Compensation:
Starting at $6/hour. This will NOT stay at $6/hour , performers grow fast with me. I give raises based on impact and ownership, not just tenure. Top performers move into Operations Manager range within 6-12 months.
