Experienced TikTok Video Editor (CapCut | Short-Form Content)

TikTok Video Editor

We are looking for an experienced TikTok Video Editor to join our team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who understands short-form content, TikTok pacing, viewer retention, and how to turn raw footage into natural, engaging videos.

This position will begin strictly as an editing role. You will not be responsible for posting videos or managing the TikTok account during the initial trial period. Additional responsibilities may be offered later after trust, consistency, and performance have been established.

Responsibilities

Edit raw iPhone footage into TikTok-ready videos

Create strong hooks and keep viewers engaged throughout each video

Add captions, text overlays, zooms, sound effects, transitions, and music when appropriate

Keep edits natural and native to TikTok without making them feel overly produced

Follow editing examples, instructions, and brand guidelines

Download and organize raw footage through Google Drive

Complete revisions when requested

Deliver finished videos consistently and on time

Stay aware of current TikTok editing styles and trends

Requirements

Previous experience editing TikTok or other short-form videos

Strong understanding of TikTok pacing, hooks, retention, and storytelling

Experience using CapCut or similar editing software

Ability to turn basic raw footage into engaging content

Strong attention to detail

Good English communication

Reliable internet connection

Ability to follow instructions closely

Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Must be willing to complete a paid editing test

Future Device Requirements

This position will begin as an editing-only role.

Candidates who perform well may later be offered additional responsibilities involving video preparation or posting. At that stage, the candidate may be required to:

Own an iPhone in good working condition

Use the iPhone for approved TikTok work

Purchase a specific SIM card locally

The approved SIM card will be reimbursed after proof of purchase is provided

Do not purchase any phone or SIM card unless specifically instructed by the company.

Schedule

Part-time to begin

Opportunity for additional hours based on workload and performance

Long-term position for the right candidate

The schedule can be flexible, but deadlines must always be met

Pay

Starting pay is $5 USD per hour.

The initial editing test and trial period will be paid.

Paid Trial

Selected candidates will begin with a small paid trial involving approximately three to five videos.

The trial will be used to evaluate:

Editing quality

TikTok pacing

Ability to follow examples

Communication

Turnaround time

Attention to detail

Consistency

Additional hours and responsibilities will only be offered after the trial is completed successfully.
