The brand targets people who want to disconnect from screens, capture real ---------- nts, and experience nostalgia — ideal for trips, parties, weddings, festivals, bonfires, and everyday adventures.
The video editor hired will produce DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) and UGC-style (User-Generated Content) ads that capture this brand identity: authentic, spontaneous, vintage-feeling, and scroll-stopping. The ads should be real and relatable, not overly polished.
About the Role
We are looking for a talented, self-driven Video Editor who specializes in creating high-performing DTC and UGC-style ecommerce video ads. This is a fully remote role offering flexible hours, allowing you to work from anywhere and set your own schedule, provided you consistently deliver high-quality output and are responsive to feedback. You will manage your own daily workload, with an expectation to produce a consistent volume of high-quality content.
You will work closely with a Creative Strategist as part of a small, focused pod. Together, you will produce, iterate, and refine ad creatives that drive real results for KLIK. Quality is the top priority — we would rather have someone with slightly more experience who delivers great work than someone cheap who delivers average work.
What You Will Be Doing
Produce 3–5 high-quality DTC / UGC-style video ads per day, depending on ad style and format.
Edit video content that is scroll-stopping, on-brand, and built to convert.
Capture the KLIK brand aesthetic in every edit — authentic, nostalgic, spontaneous, and fun.
Write or contribute to ad narratives, scripts, and hooks when needed (a plus, not a hard requirement).
Work closely with your assigned Creative Strategist to align on creative direction and output.
Process and implement feedback efficiently and accurately.
Iterate on creatives based on performance data and strategic direction.
Manage your daily workload and output to meet production targets, maintaining a consistent pace equivalent to a full-time commitment.
Deliver unique, original work — not repurposed or recycled content from existing ad libraries.
What We Are Looking For
Must-have:
Proven experience editing DTC and/or UGC-style ecommerce video ads.
Strong eye for what makes an ad hook, hold attention, and convert.
Ability to produce consistently high-quality work at volume — 3–5 ads per day.
Self-managed, reliable, and responsive to feedback.
Comfortable working independently with minimal hand-holding.
Own device capable of video editing and a stable internet connection.
Nice-to-have:
Experience writing ad narratives, hooks, or scripts.
Experience working within a creative pod or alongside a Creative Strategist.
Familiarity with ecommerce brand aesthetics and performance marketing.
Portfolio or examples of ads that have run and performed well.
An eye for nostalgic, film-style, or lifestyle content — aligns closely with the KLIK brand.
KLIK Brand Aesthetic — What to Keep in Mind
Understanding the KLIK brand is important for this role. The ads you produce should feel like:
Real ---------- nts — not staged or over-produced.
Nostalgic and film-like — vintage filter vibes, warm tones, grain.
Spontaneous and candid — trips, parties, bonfires, everyday life.
Emotionally resonant — content that makes people feel something and want to capture their own ---------- nts.
Scroll-stopping but authentic — hooks that feel natural, not clickbait.
Think: you're at a beach with friends, someone pulls out a KLIK, shoots without looking at the screen, and the photos come out beautifully imperfect. That feeling is what the ads should sell.
Tools
We have no preferred editing software. Use whatever tool you work best and fastest in. The output is what matters, not the tool. Commonly used options include Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, and Final Cut Pro — but we are not limited to these.
Compensation
Base Salary: $800–$1,500/month USD (based on experience and skill level).
We believe in paying well for great work. If you are experienced, fast, and consistently produce high-quality ads, we will compensate accordingly. A bonus structure is available for top-performing editors on top of the monthly base.
