Short-Form Food Video Editor

I’m looking for a short-form video editor for a new food content brand called I Cook, She Eatz.

The content format is simple: I cook a recipe, plate it, bring it to my wife, and she gives an honest rating. The editor’s job is to turn raw cooking footage into clean, engaging vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Each video should be edited in a 9:16 vertical format and usually be 25–60 seconds long. I need strong hooks, clean captions, fast pacing, food close-ups, smooth cuts, and a clear reaction/rating ---------- nt.

Responsibilities:

Edit short-form cooking videos for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
Add clean captions and hook text
Choose the strongest food shots and reaction ---------- nts
Keep the pacing tight and engaging
Export in 1080x1920 vertical format with no watermark
Follow a consistent brand style once established

Style I’m looking for:

Clean, warm, food-focused edits
Fast but not chaotic pacing
Readable captions
Minimal flashy effects
Strong first 2 seconds
Content should feel polished, natural, and easy to watch

I would like to start with one paid test edit. If it is a good fit, this can become an ongoing role editing around 3 videos per week.
