DaVinci Resolve Video Editor and Cinematic Colorist
Curated from source
Job Description
We are hiring a DaVinci Resolve Video Editor and Professional Colorist for an ongoing AI-generated TV series.
The main responsibility is to professionally color-grade footage and create a consistent cinematic look across every scene. Since the clips are generated separately, the lighting, exposure, colors, contrast, sharpness, and skin tones may not always match. You must know how to correct those differences and make the final episode feel like one polished production.
This is not a basic CapCut or social-media editing position. We are looking for someone who understands real cinematic color grading and can improve the overall visual quality of the tv series.
Main Responsibilities
Professionally color-correct and color-grade footage in DaVinci Resolve.
Match lighting, exposure, contrast, color, and skin tones between separate clips.
Use masking, tracking, stabilization, flicker reduction, noise reduction, sharpening, and other cleanup tools when needed.
Create reusable cinematic looks, node structures, PowerGrades, or LUTs for the series.
Keep Black skin tones and other complexions natural and accurate.
Assemble provided clips into complete scenes and episodes.
Smooth out rough, jumpy, or unnatural transitions.
Identify clips that cannot be repaired and need to be regenerated.
Export polished, high-quality final episodes.
What We Are Looking For
Strong experience using DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
Advanced color correction and color-grading skills.
Experience matching footage from different clips or cameras.
A good eye for cinematic lighting, skin tones, contrast, and visual consistency.
Ability to edit films, TV scenes, music videos, commercials, or other cinematic content.
Reliable communication and the ability to follow detailed feedback.
A computer that can smoothly edit and color-grade 4K footage in DaVinci Resolve.
To Apply
Please send:
1. A short introduction.
2. Your portfolio.
3. At least one before-and-after color-grading example.
4. A screenshot of your computer specifications.
5. A screenshot of your internet speed test.
6. The version of DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut you currently use.
Finalists may be asked to complete a short paid editing and color-grading test.
