About the Role

About Us:
We are building a portfolio of direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands.
We currently operate an apparel brand and are preparing to launch and validate additional products and brands. Our goal is to build a repeatable system for researching products, creating offers, launching stores, producing advertising creative, validating demand, and scaling the winners.
We are hiring a senior creative strategist who can become the strategic engine behind our advertising production.
This is not an organic social-media role. It is not a graphic-design role. It is not a junior marketing-assistant role.

The purpose of the role:
Your job is to deeply understand each brand’s customers and convert research, customer psychology, competitor activity, advertising performance, and winning creative formats into clear, test-ready advertising concepts.
You will brief our designers and video editors:
What they are creating
Who it is for
Which problem, desire, or belief it addresses
Which awareness stage it targets
Which angle and format are being tested
Why the concept should work
What should be iterated after results arrive

What you will own:
Customer/market/competitor research
Build and maintain detailed avatar documents.
Map customer problems, desires, objections, beliefs, and buying triggers.
Map creative to stages of awareness.
Identify and develop advertising angles and sub-angles.
Research competitor ads through Meta Ad Library and other sources.
Study successful brands.
Reverse-engineer winning ads by hook, structure, pacing, visual mechanism, message, and format.
Analyse existing brand performance and identify iteration opportunities.
Write video concepts, scripts, hooks, and editing briefs.
Write static-image ad concepts, copy, and design briefs.
Develop advertorial and landing-page concepts.
Support email campaign concepts and messaging.
Create launch creative strategies for new products.
Build weekly testing roadmaps for each active brand.
Review finished work against the original brief.
Work with Meta performance data to determine whether to iterate the hook, angle, visual, offer, format, audience, or landing page.
Maintain a documented creative learning library.
Present a concise weekly creative report.

Expected Output:
15-20 complete, test-ready concepts per week across the portfolio.
A mix of new concepts and evidence-based iterations.
Multiple hooks or executions for promising concepts.
Complete launch briefs before production begins.
Fast iteration plans when advertisements show meaningful signals.

Required experience:
Strong knowledge of advertising creative.
Strong understanding of customer psychology.
Strong understanding of awareness stages, objections, angles, concepts, formats, and offers.
Experience briefing designers and video editors.
Ability to analyse performance data
Excellent written English.
Strong research and analytical ability.

Preferred experience
At least two years in DTC ecommerce creative strategy, performance marketing, direct-response copywriting, or a closely related role.
Experience writing scripts, hooks, static-ad briefs, and direct-response copy.
