We're placing a Senior Systems Builder into a U.S.-based home services business. This is not an implementation-ticket role. You'll design custom AI architecture and lead the technical decisions: end-to-end systems, MCP servers, and complex agent workflows that run the business. You'll be the builder the founder trusts to architect what nobody off the shelf can deliver.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN:

Design end-to-end AI architecture for the business, not just individual workflows
Build and deploy MCP servers and complex, multi-agent systems
Architect integrations across the home services stack, CRM, and internal tools
Make the technical decisions: tooling, infrastructure, and how systems fit together
Build production-grade automations and applications that the team depends on
Set technical standards and document architecture so systems stay maintainable
Lead technical scoping with the founder and translate business goals into systems
Monitor, debug, and harden what you ship so it holds up under real-world load

TOOLS YOU SHOULD KNOW (some or all):

Claude and ChatGPT, plus the APIs behind them
MCP (Model Context Protocol) server design and deployment
Agent frameworks and orchestration for multi-step systems
Zapier or Make, plus custom code where automation platforms fall short
ServiceTitan, Jobber, or Housecall Pro (home services systems) and their APIs
Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
Slack, Zoom, or phone/SMS coordination

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

5+ years in software, systems architecture, or AI/automation engineering
Deep AI fluency: you architect agent systems and MCP servers, not just prompt chatbots
Proven track record shipping production systems others depend on
Strong technical judgment: you make the call on tooling and architecture and own the outcome
Strong written and verbal English communication, with clear technical documentation
Home services, trades, or field service experience is a plus
You lead technical decisions and can scope work directly with a founder
Comfortable working U.S. business hours aligned with your client's time zone
Stable internet connection and a professional remote work setup
