About the Role

Want to run a creative department end to end? Join us as Creative Operations Manager: full ownership of the team, the dashboard, and the output of a fast-growing e-commerce brand.

We're a fast-growing e-commerce company hiring a Creative Operations Manager to run our creative department: video editors, graphic designers, and copywriters.

You are not here to make the creative. You are here to make the creative machine run. Capacity, output, deadlines, and people.

This is a leadership role. You are trusted to own outcomes, not be micromanaged on tasks.
If you prefer a task-only execution role, this is not for you.

This role lives in the numbers. You'll own our creative dashboard entirely, and at any ---------- nt you'll know who has room for more work, who's overloaded, and what's at risk of slipping, before anyone asks.

You don't manage from a distance. You catch problems early, confront underperformance head-on, and make tough people decisions with confidence.

Full ownership is the goal. This role is measured by one thing: how efficiently you scale creative output without sacrificing quality.

What You’ll Own:

The Dashboard and Capacity Planning

  • Own the creative ops dashboard: capacity, utilization, deadlines, and workload.
  • Track output per editor and per project. Spot bottlenecks before they hit.
  • Forecast production and hiring needs weekly and monthly.
  • Bring leadership data-backed recommendations, not opinions.
  • When a number drops, you find the leak and have a fix in place.

The Team

  • Directly manage the video editing team, with copywriters in scope when needed.
  • Run interviews and assess talent well. Hiring is core to this role.
  • Run one-on-ones and performance reviews.
  • Hold people accountable. When someone underperforms, name the problem, set a clear path with a deadline, and if they don't hit it, make the call yourself.

Process, Systems, and AI

  • Audit and rebuild outdated workflows and SOPs across the creative pipeline.
  • Every project has an owner, a deadline, and a status. You enforce all three.
  • Use AI daily to multiply output: SOPs, data analysis, automation, reports, forecasting.
  • Grow capacity without growing headcount.
  • Strong with spreadsheets and automation tools.
  • Keep individual contributors, managers, and leadership in sync so production never stops.

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years in operations or team management, ideally overseeing creative or production teams.
  • Highly analytical and obsessed with numbers. Capacity planning, utilization, and performance metrics are your comfort zone.
  • Direct communicator who doesn’t avoid conflict. You address problems head-on and don’t let issues sit.
  • Comfortable making difficult people decisions, including terminations, and experienced in doing so.
  • Proven experience running structured interviews and hiring.
  • Data fluent. Strong in spreadsheets, and you know when to use a median over an average.
  • Technical enough to work with automation tools, scripts, and developers, and to pick up new software fast.
  • Heavy, hands-on use of AI in daily ops work. You can name what you use and why.
  • Extremely organized and process-oriented. Nothing sits, nothing waits, and you always know who’s stuck and on what.
  • Strong written and spoken English. You’ll run meetings, hold people accountable, and write SOPs.
  • Daily overlap from 1 PM to 10 PM Manila time (GMT+8), and reachable when urgent issues come up.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience managing video editors, designers, or other creative production teams at scale.
  • Experience building or owning a capacity or KPI dashboard.
  • Strong experience inside ClickUp, Notion, Airtable, ---------- , or similar.
  • Experience building AI workflows or automations.
  • Basic understanding of video production workflows. You don’t need to edit, you need to know what “done” and “good” look like.
