Design Engineer: Build with React, Framer, Motion & Cursor

PhoenixOne is a German-based agency focused on building high-end web experiences and digital products.

We design and implement visually stunning, high-performance user interfaces that merge cutting-edge design with clean code using modern AI-assisted workflows.

We are currently looking for a creative Web Design Engineer (React + Motion) to support our delivery team on a part-time basis, with a clear path to full-time and long-term growth. This is not a short-term freelance role.

Your role
You will work purely on execution and creation. You act as the bridge between Design and Code.

Task-based, clearly defined work

Visual & Technical implementation

No client communication

No sales, strategy or consulting

You will receive design concepts or wireframes and transform them into polished, animated, production-ready React code using AI tools to move fast.

What you will work on
Building Interfaces: Developing pixel-perfect UIs using React (Next.js/Vite).

Motion & Magic: Implementing smooth animations using Framer Motion, GSAP, or CSS animations.

AI-Speed Coding: Using Cursor (AI Code Editor) to write boilerplate and logic instantly, allowing you to focus on the creative details.

Graphics & Assets: Creating or adjusting UI assets in Figma/Photoshop/Illustrator.

Quality Assurance: Ensuring responsiveness and performance across all devices.

What we are looking for
Solid hands-on experience with React and modern CSS (Tailwind).

Design Eye: You are not just a coder; you understand spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy.

Motion Skills: You know how to bring a static page to life without performance loss.

AI-Native Workflow: You use Cursor daily (or are ready to switch immediately) to code 2x faster.

Reliability: Structured, detail-oriented working style.

Long-term availability and commitment.

You don’t need to be a backend architect — visual quality, animation smoothness, and execution speed matter most.
