AI Avatar Content + B-Roll (YouTube, Long-Form)

I'm looking for a skilled video editor to join my growing YouTube content operation. You'll take AI-generated talking-head footage (HeyGen) and AI-generated B-roll clips (Nano Banana) and assemble them into polished, retention-optimized long-form videos (10–30 minutes). This is a recurring role with real volume — I'm looking for someone who wants ongoing work, not a one-off gig.
Responsibilities:

Assemble HeyGen avatar footage with AI-generated and/or stock B-roll
Maintain a fast visual cut cadence — new relevant visual every 3–5 seconds to keep viewer retention high
Add accurate, well-styled captions to every video
Apply basic color/audio consistency across cuts
Follow a written style guide (provided) closely, matching a specific pacing and visual reference style
Deliver finished videos on a consistent turnaround schedule

What I'm looking for:

Real experience editing long-form YouTube content, ideally in the "faceless" or AI-avatar content space
A strong eye for pacing and retention — you understand why cuts happen, not just how to make them
Comfort working with AI-generated footage/B-roll tools, or willingness to learn quickly
Reliable communication and consistent turnaround times
English proficiency for reviewing scripts/captions accurately

Application process:

Send your portfolio/reel, ideally including any long-form or faceless-channel editing work
If shortlisted, you'll be given a short paid test clip (2–3 minutes of raw footage + script) to edit in the required style — this is compensated separately from any ongoing contract
Based on the test, we'll discuss a recurring arrangement (rate, volume, schedule)

Hours/Type: Part-time to start, with strong potential to move to full-time as volume increases
Pay: Open — please state your expected rate based on experience; paid per test task and then per video or hourly once we move to a recurring arrangement (your preference, happy to discuss)
