Direct-Response Creative Strategist (Ads, VSLs & Funnels) - Remote, Full-Time, EU hours

You're a direct-response creative strategist who turns cold traffic into revenue. You find the mechanism, the angle and the hook, write the advertorial/VSL, and build the funnel: Ad -> advertorial / VSL / quiz / presell -> landing page -> Shopify. We're a leading German health & wellbeing brand, relaunching a DTC line in the clean-air / wellness space. (Confidential hire - we'll share the brand on our first call.) We have the product and customers; we need someone to rebuild profitable acquisition and scale it - with real upside + the path to grow into a lead role. It's not a me-too product: it's science-backed, with real studies, a proven mechanism and media features behind it - so you'll have real proof and authority to build your funnels around (ideal for direct response). We work off proven direct-response playbooks and use AI heavily.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Creative strategy: research -> mechanism -> angles -> hooks -> scripts & briefs (advertorials, VSLs, ads)
• Produce or direct: produce yourself (video + static with AI) or brief & direct an editor (we can add one)
• Build the funnels with (AI-)landing-page builders & Shopify
• Run & read the ads (Meta first; native like Taboola a big plus; Google optional): test hooks aggressively, scale winners
• Email automation + remarketing + lead-magnet funnels for non-converters
• Help run the Shopify shop (products, pages, merchandising, conversion) - a support task at first, can grow over time
• Jump in across the business where needed (product, ops - whatever moves the needle); you like to roll up your sleeves and take ownership

YOU:

• ~3+ years with real results (numbers) as a creative strategist / direct-response marketer
• Direct-response to the core: mechanisms, angles, hooks, scripts, VSLs, advertorials + persuasion psychology
• You can produce (video + image with AI) or at least brief & direct an editor
• Built funnels end-to-end (with (AI-)landing-page builders & Shopify)
• Strong Meta creative + copy; AI-native
• Numbers-aware: read & understand analytics and iterate
• Comfortable across the full stack (Shopify/CRO, email /CRM, reading analytics, AI workflows) - SEO know-how a plus, not required
• Above all: growth mindset & a strong will to learn, entrepreneurial ownership, and real drive - you learn fast, own outcomes, and outwork the problem
• Full-time, with a few hours of daily CET overlap
