We are web design and digital marketing/SEO agency in the US with 16+ years. We are hiring SEO Specialists with deep, hands-on experience ranking home services businesses in competitive U.S. local markets.
This is not a strategy-only role. You will execute, optimize, and continuously improve SEO performance across multiple client accounts. You must be comfortable working inside real websites, solving real problems, and driving measurable results.
If you have successfully ranked businesses in industries such as HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, or similar service categories, and understand how Google Business Profiles, local pages, and service-area SEO truly drive leads; this role is built for you.
1. Core Responsibilities
A. On-Page SEO & Content Optimization
Optimize service pages, city/location pages, and blog content for local intent and conversions
Write or heavily edit SEO content (service pages, FAQs, blogs) that is clear, helpful, and conversion-focused
Implement proper heading structures (H1–H4), internal linking, schema, and strong CTAs
Align content with search intent, not just keyword placement
B. Technical SEO Execution
Perform full technical SEO audits and implement fixes, including:
Core Web Vitals optimization
Indexation and crawlability improvements
Site architecture and internal linking
Redirects, canonicalization, and noindex rules
Work directly within WordPress environments (including common builders)
Collaborate effectively with developers, you know exactly what to request and why
C. Local SEO (High Priority)
Fully optimize Google Business Profiles (categories, services, media, posts, FAQs)
Ensure citation consistency and NAP accuracy across platforms
Build and optimize city and service-area pages at scale
Apply a strong understanding of proximity, relevance, and prominence ranking factors
D. SOP Execution & Continuous Improvement
Execute established SEO SOPs with consistency and precision
Identify gaps and contribute to improving SOPs over time
Maintain strong task tracking, documentation, and accountability
E. Tools, Tracking & Reporting
Use SEO tools to monitor rankings, audits, and performance
Translate SEO data into clear, actionable insights for internal teams
Experience with Search Atlas is a strong advantage
2. Required Qualifications
A. Must-Have
4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (execution-focused)
Strong knowledge with tools such as BrightLocal, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog
Knowledge of schema markup for local/service businesses
Proven success ranking U.S.-based home services businesses
Strong expertise in both on-page and technical SEO
Practical experience working WordPress environments
Demonstrated experience with local SEO and Google Business Profiles
Process-driven mindset with ability to follow and improve SOPs
Strong written communication and documentation skills
B. Nice-to-Have (Pluses)
Agency experience managing multiple client accounts
Basic understanding of CRO for service-based websites
