About the Role

Legal Operations Manager

We're looking for a Legal Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Legal Group.

You will be the operational link between our Managing Partner, Legal Director, in-house paralegals, regional legal contractors, and clients.

This is not an administrative role. You are responsible for making sure every file moves, every deadline is met, and every client receives a timely response. You keep matters organised and resolve issues before they delay the work.

You will work directly with the Managing Partner and Legal Director.

Responsibilities

File Management
Maintain a live overview of every active matter. Track deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure no client request goes unanswered for more than 24 hours.

Paralegal Coordination
Review each file before assigning it to an in-house paralegal. Ensure all required documents have been received and the instructions are complete.

Regional Contractor Coordination
Assign matters to the appropriate regional contractor based on jurisdiction. Make sure every briefing package is complete before it leaves your desk.

Client Communication
Manage client communication through WhatsApp and email . Keep clients informed and escalate matters to senior partners when necessary.

Execution
Carry out partner instructions without being chased. Follow matters through to completion and flag problems before they become urgent.

Requirements
Excellent written and spoken English.
Experience as a paralegal, legal secretary, legal administrator, or lawyer.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple matters independently.
Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp Business, email , and task management software.
Experience working with international legal matters is an advantage.
