About the Role
The Receptionist/Home Health Scheduler is responsible for answering incoming calls, coordinating clinician schedules, communicating with patients and staff, and supporting daily agency operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Worked for a Home Health agency within the past two (2) years.
- Minimum two (2) years of Home Health scheduling experience.
- Experience coordinating schedules for clinicians and communicating with patients.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient with Google Office and EMR systems (WellSky/Kinnser preferred).
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace.
Essential Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally.
- Schedule, confirm, and adjust patient visits.
- Coordinate schedules with clinicians to ensure efficient patient coverage.
- Communicate scheduling changes promptly to patients and clinicians.
- Maintain accurate scheduling documentation in the EMR.
- Respond to emails, voicemails, and internal messages in a timely manner.
- Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
