About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Virtual Assistant to support a U.S.-based podiatry practice. This is a long-term opportunity for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented professional with experience providing administrative support to U.S. healthcare practices.

We are looking for someone flexible and willing to support other areas of the practice as needed, including scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, medical records, and other administrative responsibilities.

You will work closely with U.S.-based leadership and a supportive Philippine-based team that provides training and ongoing guidance. We value excellent communication skills, reliability, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Experience using Advantage EMR is highly preferred.

Responsibilities Answer and manage patient phone calls professionally. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Respond to patient inquiries and route messages to the appropriate tea ---------- mbers. Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information. Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records as assigned. Update and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR. Assist with patient registration and other front-office administrative tasks. Support insurance verification and other practice-related administrative duties as needed. Coordinate with providers, staff, and patients regarding scheduling and follow-up needs. Complete additional healthcare administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant supporting a U.S.-based medical practice. Experience handling patient phone calls is required. Experience in a podiatry practice is a plus but not required. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems. Experience using Advantage EMR is highly preferred. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines. Flexible and willing to support different administrative functions as the needs of the practice evolve. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
