Meta Media Buyer (E-commerce & Restricted Niches)

About Us: We are a Canadian performance marketing agency specializing in Meta advertising for brands in restricted and regulated niches — cannabis, CBD, hemp, tobacco, nicotine, and similar categories. We help our clients scale aggressively while staying compliant. We're a small, remote team that moves fast and takes ownership seriously.

The Role: We're looking for a skilled Meta Media Buyer to join our team part-time with the intention of growing into a full-time position for the right person. You'll be managing paid social campaigns across 5 client accounts — one of which runs 4 ad accounts simultaneously at high spend. This is a hands-on, technical role. You won't just be optimizing campaigns — you'll own the full technical infrastructure behind them.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Daily monitoring and optimization of Meta ad campaigns across all client accounts
• Campaign builds, ad set structure, audience research and testing
• Creative testing — rotating new ads in, identifying and killing underperformers
• Setting up and managing cloaked landing pages and compliant link infrastructure
• Facebook Pixel installation, event configuration, and verification
• Backup Business Manager, page, and profile management
• Fast account recovery when ad accounts or profiles get flagged or banned
• Weekly performance reporting per client
• Flagging issues immediately — same day, not next day

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of hands-on Meta Ads experience
• Experience running ads in restricted or grey-hat niches (cannabis, supplements, tobacco, etc.) is a strong plus
• Comfortable with cloaking tools and compliant landing page infrastructure
• Knows how to set up and troubleshoot Meta Pixel and Conversions API
• Experience managing multiple ad accounts simultaneously
• Understands Business Manager structure — backup BMs, pages, profiles
• Responsive, reliable, and proactive — if something breaks you fix it and tell us, you don't wait to be asked
• Strong written English communication
• Available during overlap hours with Pacific Standard Time (PST)

Compensation

Part-time: $600–$900 USD/month Full-time (upon transition): $1,000–$1,500 USD/month based on experience and performance
