Freelance YouTube Editor (Long-Form Fitness Content)
EYE2EYE Agency
About Us:
EYE2EYE is a content production agency working exclusively with online fitness coaches. We handle the full pipeline: scripting, filming, editing, and posting. We are expanding into long-form YouTube for our clients and need an editor who can turn raw interview and A-roll footage into retention-driven videos that hold attention from the first frame to the last.
The Role: You will edit long-form YouTube videos (roughly 8 to 10 minutes each) for our coaching clients. These are story and identity driven videos, not talking head cutdowns. Your job is to shape footage into a tight narrative, cut dead air, layer in B-roll and graphics, and keep the viewer watching all the way through.
The Style We Want: Think Alex Hormozi's YouTube videos: fast paced, punchy, and dense with retention devices. Bold on-screen text that reinforces the spoken word, tight cuts with zero dead air, constant visual movement, and graphics that hammer home each point. If you understand why that style holds attention, you are who we are looking for.
What You Will Do: Edit 8 to 10 minute YouTube videos from scripted interview footage Build a clear narrative arc that follows the script structure and protects retention Cut for pace: remove filler, tighten transitions, keep energy high Layer in B-roll, captions, sound design, and light motion graphics Color correct and clean up audio to a professional standard Follow brand and creative direction closely, and take revision notes through ----------
What We Are Looking For: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (this is required, and your primary editing environment) Ability to edit in the style of Alex Hormozi's long-form YouTube content Strong long-form editing experience, ideally YouTube content in the 8 to 15 minute range A real understanding of retention editing: hooks, pattern interrupts, pacing, and payoff Comfort with B-roll selection, captioning, and basic motion graphics Reliable communication and the ability to hit deadlines Bonus: experience editing fitness, health, or education content
Pay: $200 per completed video (8 to 10 minutes each) Paid per video, so your effective rate rewards speed and efficiency once you know our style
How to Apply Send your reel or a few examples of long-form videos you have edited in Premiere Pro, with a short note on your experience with retention-focused YouTube content, especially anything in a similar style to Alex Hormozi.
